Recorded in a day in a former church in Malmo, Nebraska, this one is full of concise songs, some crooning, some rototiller noise, songs with absurdly long titles like "Your Gold Record Will Look Nice in Your Fallout Shelter" and "You Will Buy My Little Marcy Record", this one is a great summer record that is, of course, coming out in autumn. Manny Reyes's astounding electronic rock en espanol con mucho warbling project is possibly the greatest thing ever to emerge out of Las Vegas. Including the El Cortez and dime roulette. I haven't heard the complete CD yet but the man is a legend and can do very little wrong. Have you seen Atole live?
